Description

Experience the seamless and smooth jazz styles of Kenny Burrell. This 1956 self - titled album, released in 2022 by Blue Note Records, is the second work of this experienced session jazz guitarist as a leader. It combines musicians from three sessions in March and May 1956. Big names like bassists Paul Chambers and Oscar Pettiford, pianist Tommy Flanagan, and legendary percussionist Candido (appearing on 'Get Happy') are all part of this masterpiece. Burrell's guitar playing is so natural and expressive. His cover of Gershwin's 'But Not for Me' is truly excellent, and 'Now See How You Are' is extremely catchy. The album's cover art is by an early - career Andy Warhol. It comes as a 180g black vinyl, housed in a glossy tip - on gatefold sleeve. It's an all - analog remaster cut from the original tapes and is part of Blue Note's Tone Poet 180g audiophile remaster series. Musicians include Kenny Burrell (guitar), Tommy Flanagan (piano), Frank Foster (tenor sax), Oscar Pettiford (bass), Shadow Wilson (drums), and Candido (percussion).

To enjoy this Kenny Burrell vinyl LP, first, carefully take the record out of the glossy tip - on gatefold sleeve. Make sure your turntable is clean and in good working condition. Place the 180g black vinyl gently on the turntable. Set the tonearm and let the music play. While listening, avoid touching the record surface with dirty hands as it can cause scratches and affect the sound quality. After use, put the record back into the sleeve and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. This will help keep the vinyl in good shape for a long time so you can keep enjoying the wonderful jazz music of Kenny Burrell.
