Description

Imagine was initially recorded in February and June 1971. It's more elaborately produced than the music on John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band, which received critical acclaim. This is John Lennon's most well - loved solo work, and the title track is regarded by many as one of his greatest. Lennon later credited Yoko Ono for co - writing this plea for world peace. George Harrison appears on half of the album's tracks, while Paul McCartney is the inspiration for 'How Do You Sleep '. Lennon wrote this song as a response to McCartney's supposed personal attacks on him and Ono in the Ram album. Both 'Oh My Love' and 'How' relate to Lennon's experience with primal therapy. This newly remixed white double - vinyl edition features 'The Ultimate Mixes' on the first LP and a collection of demos and alternate versions on the second. It comes with a large fold - out poster, two postcards, and printed inner sleeves with detailed liner notes. The 180g white colored double vinyl is pressed by Apple Records in 2021.

Using this vinyl record is simple. Just place it on a compatible turntable, gently drop the needle on the starting groove of the record, and you can enjoy the music. When handling the vinyl, make sure your hands are clean to avoid leaving fingerprints or dirt on the surface. Store the vinyl in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. This will help preserve the quality of the vinyl and prevent warping. When not in use, keep the record in its sleeve to protect it from scratches. If you notice any dust on the vinyl, use a soft, anti - static brush to gently remove it before playing.
