The record label wasn't fond of 'Kick' at first. But thanks to some bold moves by INXS's manager, this sixth album by the Australian band was released in 1987, and it became a huge success. It had 4 singles in the U.S. top 10 and was certified 6 - times platinum. Hits like 'Need You Tonight', 'Never Tear Us Apart', 'New Sensation', and 'Devil Inside' are well - known, but the whole album is a masterfully crafted work. It combines alt - rock, pop, and new wave in a super catchy and danceable way. This version is pressed on 180g black vinyl, housed in a gatefold jacket with printed inner sleeves.
