The Illinois space rock and alternative band Hum is reissuing its four - album catalog on vinyl. The band members were involved in every step of the re - mastering, lacquer cutting, and manufacturing. They worked with the original designer Andy Mueller/Ohio Girl to update the artwork. Recorded by Mark Rubel at Pogo Studio in Champaign, IL, and mixed by Brian Malouf at Pacifique, LA. Licensed from Sony Music and re - mastered by Ryan Smith at Sterling Sound, New York. This is Hum's final album before disbanding in 2000. It includes bonus tracks like 'Puppets', 'Aphids', and 'Boy With Stick'. The 180g translucent yellow colored double vinyl is pressed to perfection. The entire mastering and manufacturing process was overseen by the band. It comes in a gatefold sleeve with updated artwork by Andy Mueller. Originally released in 1997, it's now available from Earth Analog Records in 2023.
