This is a must - have for Grateful Dead fans! It's a Black Friday Record Store Day 2013 exclusive. The album features a special live, acoustic set. The sleeve front lists aliases like 'Mickey Hart And The Heartbeats' and 'Bobby Ace And His Cards From The Bottom Of The Deck', but we know they're the Grateful Dead. These recordings are personal and intimate, quite different from their dense and layered extended jams. Mostly just guitars and voices. The better part is all Grateful Dead, and the last quarter is a live set from Pigpen. It's an 180 - gram double vinyl pressing with a never - before - heard 80 - minute acoustic set, sourced from tapes recently found by Mountain Girl in Jerry's personal collection. The music label is Rhino Records 2013.
