Heavenly, written over the past few years, is the debut 5 - track EP from the Rio Grande Valley, TX alternative/shoegaze band, Glare. Glare has evolved their heavy shoegaze sound from previous singles like 'Into You' and 'Void In Blue'. On this EP, they've refined their songwriting and rhythm, influenced by classic bands such as Slownave, My Bloody Valentine, and Cocteau Twins. Heavenly is a blend of love, loneliness, and anger, communicated consistently through beautiful noise, swooping guitars, and lush vocal patterns. 'Bloom' starts with a guitar - drum burst and sweet words, while 'Ghastly' ends the EP with a haunting guitar and a bleak view of the world. This limited - edition EP comes on green & clear cloudy colored, single - sided vinyl (audio on side A only) and includes a printed insert.
