Get your hands on the repressed debut album of the Baltimore - via - North Carolina indie pop trio, Future Islands! In summer 2007, they gathered in Greenville, North Carolina, to record 'Wave Like Home'. With members' home bases scattered, they had limited studio time and recorded the album in just 3 days and spent a month mixing it. This necessity - born process set the standard for their later raw yet rich sound. Originally released by Upset The Rhythm, 'Wave Like Home' has been extremely hard to find on vinyl in the States (second - hand copies can cost up to $200). Now, Ideas For Housecrafts has released a 10th anniversary repress with repro artwork, a printed lyric sleeve, and the full original tracklist. It's the first time on vinyl since 2010, housed in a printed inner sleeve, and released by Ideas For Housecrafts in 2018.

To enjoy this vinyl LP, simply place it on your turntable and drop the needle gently on the start of the record. Make sure your turntable is set at the correct speed, usually 33 1/3 RPM for LPs. When handling the vinyl, always hold it by the edges to avoid fingerprints and scratches on the playing surface. After use, carefully put it back in its printed inner sleeve to protect it from dust and damage. Store the vinyl in a cool, dry place, standing upright to prevent warping. This is a special 10th anniversary repress, so handle it with care to keep it in good condition for years to come.
