The three artists on the L.I.E.S. American Noise Sampler showcase the charm of Ron Morelli's New York - based label. On the A - side, Torn Hawk's 'This Is Crime & Lace' mixes avant - garde musique concrete, experimental electronica, post - punk industrial soundscapes, and has hints of Chicago house. Early label contributor Marcos Cabral offers a slow and spooky techno track with a rubber - band bassline that will get into your head. Newcomer Delroy Edwards makes a strong debut with '4 Club Use Only'. 'Feelings' is a distorted and exciting take on house, recently featured on Ben UFO's Fabric mix CD.
