Description

In August 1977, Fleetwood Mac was at its peak. After leaving in February to tour the world, the band returned to Southern California to play three epic shows at The Forum in Los Angeles for nearly 50,000 fans, just weeks after 'Rumours' hit the shelves. 'Rumours Live' captures the electric energy of their opening night on August 29, 1977. The setlist mainly features tracks from 'Fleetwood Mac' and 'Rumours,' the first two albums of the band's new lineup with Mick Fleetwood, John and Christine McVie, Stevie Nicks, and Lindsey Buckingham. The only nod to their other nine studio albums is a powerful performance of 'Oh Well,' a 1969 rock - guitar classic by founder Peter Green. This concert remained unreleased for decades until 2021, with 'Gold Dust Woman' and 'World Turning' added as bonus tracks on 'Live: Deluxe Edition.' The other 16 songs are brand - new to the public. Engineer Ken Caillat, who worked on 'Rumours,' recorded this show using the Record Plant's mobile truck, capturing amazing versions of 'Landslide,' 'Never Going Back Again,' 'Songbird,' and 'The Chain.' This is a previously unreleased high - quality soundboard recording on black double vinyl with a gatefold sleeve, from Warner Records 2023.

To enjoy this Fleetwood Mac vinyl, first, carefully take it out of the gatefold sleeve. Place it gently on your turntable. Make sure your turntable is clean and in good working condition. Set the tonearm on the record gently to start the music. When you're done, lift the tonearm carefully and put the record back in its sleeve. Keep the vinyl away from direct sunlight and heat to prevent warping. Store it upright to avoid scratches. Also, clean the vinyl regularly with a proper record cleaning brush to maintain the best sound quality. Enjoy the amazing music of Fleetwood Mac's 1977 concert!
