Factory Floor: How You Say (Bookworms Remixes) Vinyl 12

Factory Floor's music is incredibly intense. Their recent, more minimalist work takes that intensity up a notch. Brooklyn's Bookworms, well - known from L.I.E.S. and Confused House, offers two remixes of 'How You Say' from Factory Floor's self - titled DFA album. These remixes explore the simplicity and immediacy of the original track. In the originals, vocals added a psychedelic touch, but Bookworms drowns them in hazy noise and delay, creating a more industrial feel. However, the pulsing bass and constant rhythm clearly mark it as techno. 'Remix 2' is more free - flowing and experimental. While the first remix is focused, here the bass line changes and effects come and go. They're two sides of the same coin, and it's easy to see why Factory Floor couldn't pick just one.
