This is an extensive compilation from Bronx Punk Funkers. Back when Punk, Funk, and Hip Hop were at their creative peak, New York, especially the Bronx, was buzzing. The three sisters from uptown, Emerald, Sapphire, and Gold, unknowingly played a unique type of Funk that caught everyone's attention in the downtown scene. They soon became part of the city's unique music culture. This compilation, originally released for Record Store Day UK in 2014, is almost a complete discography. It collects nearly every song they recorded, including all the must - have tracks. Focusing mainly on the original albums and carefully selecting from their two Soul Jazz Records from the early 2000s, it goes beyond the basics. Highly recommended!
