Over several years, recorded at home alone, Birds In The Ground captures the post - 9/11 malaise of a 30 - something. Under the Eiafuawn (Everything Is All Fucked Up And What Not) alias, Parton's vocals blend into layers of fuzzy and clean guitars. This deluxe pressing comes in a beautiful tip - on sleeve with complete lyrics, making it a unique entry in the Dusterverse. It's an obscure 2006 solo project from Clay Parton of Duster, getting its first US vinyl release. The canary yellow colored vinyl is housed in a tip - on jacket, with a printed inner sleeve featuring full album lyrics. It's a limited edition from the Numero Group in 2023.
