This album pays homage to her late sister who passed away from a rare cancer at 13. While working on her memoir, Howard started to heal from this tragedy on her own. Jaime has a soulful, jazz - inspired sound, different from Alabama Shakes' Americana and Thunderbitch's garage - rock.
