Description

The Benidub Digital Echo Desktop Delay Unit is a must - have for music enthusiasts. It's designed for both studio mixing and live improvisation, taking inspiration from classic echo modules used in reggae and dancehall soundsystems. The built - in sweep frequency analog low - pass and high - pass filters offer classic, saturated, warm sound textures. With individual rotary knobs, you can easily shape the sound, modulating depth, rate, beat multiply, BPM, feedback, volume, high pass, and low pass. The built - in hard limiter circuit smooths out the loudest audio peaks to prevent clipping. The delay time ranges from 1.2 seconds to 70ms, with dedicated controls for multiplication and division. A power supply is included. At its digital core lies the powerful Spin Semiconductors FV - 1 DSP, programmed for studio - quality delay manipulation, noise reduction, and an organic sound. The added analog LP and HP filters bring that expected saturated warmth. Just like other Benidub effects, it's designed as a musical instrument, suitable for both live performances and studio mixing. Technical specs include a balanced 1/4” TRS Jack for input, another for output, and an unbalanced 1/4” TRS Jack for trigger input. It measures 5.7” x 5.1” x 2.4” (145 x 130 x 60mm). Also available are other Benidub products like the DS71 Dub Siren, DS01 Dub Siren, and more.

Using the Benidub Digital Echo Desktop Delay Unit is easy. First, connect your audio source to the input 1/4” TRS Jack and your speakers or amplifier to the output 1/4” TRS Jack. If you want to use a trigger, connect it to the trigger input. To start shaping your sound, use the individual rotary knobs. You can adjust the depth, rate, and other parameters according to your needs. For the delay time, use the dedicated controls to multiply or divide the time between 1.2 seconds and 70ms. When it comes to volume, set it to a level that suits your audio setup and avoid over - driving the unit to prevent clipping. As for maintenance, keep the unit in a dry and clean place. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity. If there's dust on the unit, use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe it. Don't try to open the unit yourself as it may void the warranty. If you encounter any problems, contact the manufacturer's customer service.
