The album was born when the Houston band returned home after a long tour. In their Texas studio, they took their time, pulling musical references from Pakistan, Korea, and West Africa. Mordechai is a celebration of Houston's rich music culture. This Turntable Lab exclusive comes on clear smoke - colored vinyl. There's a limit of one per customer, it includes an Institut Audio obi strip and a digital download. It's a limited edition of 1000, released by Dead Oceans in 2020 (TTL Institut Audio 013).
To enjoy your Khruangbin: Mordechai vinyl LP, first, make sure your turntable is clean and in good working condition. Gently remove the vinyl from the sleeve, holding it by the edges to avoid fingerprints and scratches. Place it on the turntable platter and start the rotation. Use the tonearm to lower the needle onto the record gently at the beginning of the groove. When you're done listening, lift the tonearm carefully and turn off the turntable. Store the vinyl in its sleeve and keep it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat. Don't stack heavy objects on it. For the digital download, follow the instructions included with the obi strip. Just be careful not to misplace the obi strip as it contains important information for getting your digital copy.
