Description

Imagine, originally recorded in February and June 1971, is more heavily produced than the music on John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band. It's John Lennon's most popular solo work, and the title track is regarded by many as one of his best. Lennon credited Yoko Ono for co - writing this plea for world peace. George Harrison appears on half of the album's tracks, while Paul McCartney inspired 'How Do You Sleep'. Lennon wrote it in response to McCartney's alleged attacks on him and Ono in the Ram album. Both 'Oh My Love' and 'How' reference Lennon's primal therapy experience. This newly remixed clear double - vinyl edition has 'The Ultimate Mixes' on the first LP and a collection of demos and alternate versions on the second. It comes with a giant fold - out poster, two postcards, and printed inner sleeves with detailed liner notes. Key features: clear double vinyl pressing; 1st LP has 'The Ultimate Mixes' from original master tapes; 2nd LP holds rare demos and outtakes; housed in a full - color sleeve with printed inner sleeves; includes 2 postcards and a giant foldout poster; music label is Capitol 2018.

Using this John Lennon vinyl record is easy. Just place it on your turntable, gently drop the needle on the groove, and enjoy the music. When handling the vinyl, make sure your hands are clean to avoid getting dirt or fingerprints on it. Store the record in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat. Don't stack too many records on top of it to prevent warping. When taking it out of the sleeve, be careful not to bend it. If there's dust on the record, use a proper vinyl brush to clean it before playing. And remember to keep the poster and postcards flat to prevent creasing.
