The second solo studio album from the Beatles' legend John Lennon. 'Imagine' was recorded in February and June 1971. It has a heavier production than 'John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band'. This is Lennon's most popular solo work, and the title track is regarded as one of his greatest creations. Lennon credited Yoko Ono for co - writing this plea for world peace. George Harrison features on half of the tracks, while Paul McCartney inspired 'How Do You Sleep'. Lennon wrote it as a response to McCartney's alleged attacks on him and Ono in the 'Ram' album.
