Description

Celebrate the 60th anniversary of jazz legend John Coltrane's 1958 Prestige Recordings with this limited 8 - vinyl LP set. Presented chronologically, it showcases Coltrane's remarkable growth in just one year, with 37 tracks that reveal all aspects of his musical approach. Each of the 8 records is a 180g black vinyl pressing, remastered from the original analog tapes. Housed in a luxurious linen - wrapped, portfolio - style book with 40 pages, it includes extensive liner notes by jazz historian Ashley Kahn, rare ephemera, and historical photos of Coltrane and his collaborators, taken by renowned jazz photographers. A must - have for jazz fans, brought to you by Craft Recordings in 2019.

To use this vinyl boxset, first, make sure your turntable is clean and in good working condition. Gently remove a vinyl record from the linen - wrapped book. Hold it by the edges to avoid fingerprints on the playing surface. Place it on the turntable and start the playback. After use, carefully put the record back in its sleeve in the book. Keep the boxset in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent damage to the vinyl and the book. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity. If you notice any dust on the records, use a proper vinyl record cleaning brush to gently remove it before playing again.
