The best thing after the recent Jawbreaker reunion tour would be a new Jawbreaker record. While we're waiting, here's a great treat - a 20th anniversary pressing of the 2002 compilation of album outtakes and rarities. The first disc features rarities from the early days of the band, with a Fugazi - inspired rough sound that fans love. Tracks like 'With Or Without U2' and 'Peel It The Fuck Down' are now on wax. The second LP is closer to the sound of 24 Hour Revenge Therapy. Tracks such as 'First Step' and 'Friends Back East' are outtakes from sessions with Steve Albini, and others were recorded around the time of 1995's Dear You. It comes as a double vinyl pressing with printed inner sleeves. It's a black double vinyl release from Blackball Records in 2022, originally released in 2002.
To use this double vinyl LP, first, make sure your record player is in good working condition. Gently remove the vinyl from the sleeve to avoid scratches. Place it on the turntable and start playing. When you're done, carefully put the vinyl back into the printed inner sleeve to protect it. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent warping.
