Hurray for the Riff Raff's Nonesuch debut is a fresh start for Bronx - born, New Orleans - based singer/songwriter Alynda Segarra. This album features eleven new 'nature punk' tracks centered around survival. These are songs for a changing world, about thriving even in the face of disaster. For her eighth full - length album, Segarra took inspiration from The Clash, Beverly Glenn - Copeland, Bad Bunny, and author Adrienne Maree Brown. Recorded during the pandemic, Life on Earth was produced by Brad Cook, known for his work with Waxahatchee, Bon Iver, and Kevin Morby. It comes as a clear vinyl pressing, is an indie exclusive, and is housed in a gatefold sleeve with a printed foldout liner note insert. The music label is Nonesuch (2022).
