Description

This is a sublime 2011 release by Liz Harris, known as Grouper. AIA Alien Observer came out on the same day as AIA Dream Loss, forming a lush album pair of languid, lo - fidelity, down - looking folk music. Alien Observer offers more song - based music, while Dream Loss focuses on texture and atmosphere. It's hard to categorize, like all Grouper materials. This album is a great starting point if you're new to Grouper. Push through the 7 - minute, soupy opener 'Moon Is Sharp' to reach the hair - raising utopia of the title track. 'She Loves Me That Way' is truly outstanding. The album is amazing from start to finish. It comes with two printed inserts featuring Liz's own drawings. It's a black vinyl pressing, released by Kranky in 2019. Highly recommended.

To enjoy this Grouper vinyl LP, simply place it on your record player and start the playback. When handling the vinyl, make sure your hands are clean to avoid leaving fingerprints or dirt on it. Store the vinyl in a cool, dry place to prevent warping. Keep it away from direct sunlight and heat sources. The printed inserts are a nice addition, so handle them gently to avoid tearing. If you want to keep them in good condition, you can store them in a protective sleeve. Enjoy the beautiful music of Grouper with this great vinyl LP.
