We were approached by promoters worldwide in 2017, leading us to work on new material and re - record a record. At first, we thought of re - recording the songs as they were, but they sounded dated. Chester Bennington didn't want a dated work and believed the songs could be modernized. He even shared new song ideas with us. This 'black ice' colored vinyl LP features unreleased recordings from Chester's pre - Linkin Park band Grey Daze. It combines 1990s original vocal takes with new material recorded before his passing.
