Fugazi's debut full - length LP, 'Repeater,' is a must - have for music lovers. In 1988, during their US and Europe tours, they released their self - titled debut EP, followed by the 'Margin Walker' EP in 1989. After a touring break, they entered the studio. Singer Guy Picciotto started playing guitar, and songwriting shifted. Instead of songs solely by Ian MacKaye, the band jammed out ideas. The result, 'Repeater,' is a definitive album. It moved from early dub influences to a harder, more aggressive sound. The album explores themes like greed, violence, and more, with its title referencing the gun violence in Washington, DC at that time. Check out tracks such as 'Repeater,' 'Merchandise,' 'Blueprint,' 'Greed,' and 'Styrofoam.' This is a black vinyl pressing, comes with a printed insert, was originally released in 1990, and is from the Dischord Records label (2009). Reviewed by Hank Ohs in 08/2014.

To use this Fugazi - Repeater Vinyl LP, simply place it on a working turntable. Make sure the turntable is clean and the stylus is in good condition. Gently lower the stylus onto the vinyl at the start of the track you want to play. When you're done, carefully lift the stylus and return it to its rest. As for maintenance, keep the vinyl in its sleeve when not in use to prevent dust and scratches. Clean the vinyl with a proper record cleaning brush from time to time. Avoid touching the playing surface with your fingers as the oils can damage the vinyl. And store it in a cool, dry place to maintain its quality.
