Description

Zappa's 18th album, now on 180-gram heavyweight vinyl. Among Frank Zappa's 60+ albums, 'Apostrophe' is arguably his most accessible and commercially successful work so far. This prolific musician, composer, producer, and filmmaker is widely regarded as one of the most stylistically diverse and innovative rock artists of his era, as seen in his vast catalog. In 1974, despite the satirical nature of his work, 'Apostrophe' gave Zappa his first Billboard hit with 'Don't Eat The Yellow Snow.' The album also features an instrumental title track with Cream bassist Jack Bruce and drummer Jim Gordon, sampled by Madlib and U.N.K.L.E. This 2014 repress is mastered from the original 1974 master tapes for the best listening experience. It's a 180g black vinyl pressing, remastered from original analog tapes. Originally released in 1974, it's from Zappa Records in 2014.

To use this vinyl LP, first make sure your record player is clean and in good working condition. Place the vinyl gently on the turntable, center it, and drop the needle carefully on the lead - in groove. When you're done listening, lift the needle gently and return it to the rest. Store the vinyl in its sleeve and keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Avoid touching the playing surface with your fingers to prevent dirt and oil from getting on it. If the vinyl gets dirty, use a proper vinyl cleaning solution and a soft brush to clean it gently.
