Frakkur is the pseudonym Jónsi of Sigur Rós used for his electronic music experiments at home in Reykjavík, in hotels, or in Boston. This long - lost music was rediscovered by Alex Somers from an old CD - R. The tracks blend Jónsi's studious experimentation with heartfelt emotions. Split into three discs, each represents a different era of his work. The first (2001 - 2003) was made on his 'The Tank' laptop with Fruityloops, inspired by an unfulfilled romance. The second (2002 - 2003) was created at home using a Yamaha RS - 7000 and sounds from broken toys. The third (2003 - 2004) was recorded in Cambridge during tour breaks, influenced by Apple's Logic DAW. This influenced 2005's Takk. This triple LP set is pressed on red, clear, and blue vinyl, comes with a reverse - board jacket and liner notes. It's a limited edition of 3000 from KRUNK 2019. Also available is Jónsi & Alex Somers - Riceboy Sleeps. A must - have for music lovers! Reviewed by AQUAVIT 09/2019.

Using this vinyl set is easy. Just place the record on your turntable, gently drop the needle, and enjoy the unique sounds of Frakkur. When handling the vinyl, make sure your hands are clean to avoid getting fingerprints on the surface. Keep the records in their jackets when not in use to protect them from dust and scratches. Store the vinyl vertically in a cool, dry place to prevent warping. Don't expose the records to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures. The liner notes on the back of the jacket can enhance your listening experience, so take some time to read them and understand the story behind the music.
