The debut studio album 'Foo Fighters' by the American alternative rock band was released on July 4, 1995, by Capitol Records via Dave Grohl's Roswell label. In 1994, Grohl, with producer Barrett Jones at Robert Lang Studios in Seattle, recorded the whole album alone, except for a guest guitar from Greg Dulli. He made it just for fun as a way to cope with the loss of Nirvana's Kurt Cobain. The band's name comes from WWII Allied pilots' reports of UFOs. This album comes on black vinyl.
