The 2003 debut album Express Rising, originally released on the now - defunct Memphix label, is an absolute cult classic. Even nearly a decade later, we still receive numerous inquiries about this record. Dante Carfagna, known for compiling great releases like Personal Space and Chains And Black Exhaust, crafted this instrumental music. It combines downtempo elements (even though Carfagna doesn't listen to downtempo), obscure rock, emotional vibes (not emo), and a digger's mindset. Express Rising caters to a niche group of music lovers, likely the same ones who shop at our site. Check out our Express Rising interview on the blog for more. It comes in an old - school 'paste - back' record sleeve. Highly recommended. Numero Group 2013. Reviewed by the mgmnt 07/13.
