1990 feels like ages ago. This album was a big deal back then, and any title with 'sex' was super edgy. The Oakland crew led by Shock - G / Humpty had a unique style. They dressed in pimp gear and wore fake noses, like a Suzuki Samurai infiltrating the suburbs. At school dances, 13 - year - olds would dance to 'Humpty Dance'. Older kids even said 'Sex Packets' had some wild effects. 'Doowutchyalike' got popular in the midwest, and 'Freaks of The Industry' is one of the best album - only tracks ever. In hindsight, this debut is much better than we remembered. Unlike other music of the time, these songs showed musical restraint. And yes, Pac was a backup dancer! With great tracks like 'Packet Man', 'Sex Packets', and 'Freaks', you can enjoy the whole album from start to finish. This limited - edition release comes as an 180g clear blue colored double vinyl pressing and includes printed liner note inserts. It's from the Tommy Boy label in 2021. Highly recommended.

Using this vinyl record is easy. Just place it gently on your turntable and lower the needle carefully. Make sure your turntable is clean and in good working condition. When not in use, store the vinyl in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid touching the playing surface with your fingers as it can leave fingerprints and affect the sound quality. If the record gets dirty, you can use a vinyl cleaning brush to gently remove dust. Also, be careful when handling the liner note inserts as they are part of this limited - edition package. Enjoy listening to this amazing album!
