Using the Denon DP-450USB turntable is easy. First, connect the detachable RCA cable to your audio system and plug in the power cord. Place your record on the cast aluminum platter with the rubber record mat. The S-shaped tonearm with the pre-mounted cartridge will do the rest. You can choose the playback speed (33/45/78 rpm) using the knob. For USB recording, simply insert a USB flash drive into the front access USB output, press either the MP3 or WAV button to start recording. Note that you can't connect a computer or external hard drive. The auto-stop function will lift the tonearm and turn off the motor at the end of the record, but you can turn this off if you prefer. When using the dustcover, you can use the stand to store it and also display your album cover. For maintenance, keep the turntable clean and dust-free. Avoid touching the stylus with your fingers. If you're using the MusiCut Software for MP3 editing, make sure your computer is running Windows. For Mac users, Audacity is a free alternative.
