Description

Built to Spill is back with an amazing new album, When the Wind Forgets Your Name, Doug Martsch's eighth full - length. It expands the Built to Spill universe in exciting ways. In 2018, Martsch joined forces with Brazilian lo - fi punk artist and producer Le Almeida and his long - time collaborator Jo o Casaes of Oru . Their partnership led to tours in the US and Europe in 2019 and the recording of bass and drum tracks at Doug's Boise rehearsal space. After Martsch added guitars and vocals, they mixed the album remotely. The result is a complex yet cohesive blend of musical ideas. With poetic lyrics and themes, it features unique, vivid, and timeless sounds from guitar - driven rock to bluesy anthems and dub - reggae - inspired instrumentation. Sub Pop Records is proud to release this excellent album. This is a Sub Pop Loser Edition 'misty kiwi fruit' green colored vinyl. It comes in a full - color gatefold jacket with a printed inner sleeve and includes a giant foldout poster. It's a limited - edition release from the music label Sub Pop in 2022.

To use this vinyl LP, simply place it on your turntable. Make sure your turntable is clean and in good working condition. Gently lower the tonearm onto the record to start playing. When handling the vinyl, always hold it by the edges to avoid getting fingerprints on the playing surface, which can cause sound issues. Store the vinyl upright in a cool, dry place to prevent warping. After each use, return the record to its sleeve to protect it from dust and scratches. And enjoy the unique, timeless music of Built to Spill's When the Wind Forgets Your Name!
