Description

The Benidub DS01 Dub Siren is a boutique analog synthesizer module. Inspired by classic synth - drum modules in reggae and dancehall soundsystems, it creates authentic dub sirens. With 100% analog circuitry, it produces rich and aggressive tones. It offers intuitive sound shaping through individual rotary knobs for tone, LFO, pitch, and volume selection. You can choose from 4 classic dub siren tones (sine 1, sine 2, test tone, square) via a rotary knob. There are 3 switchable LFO modulation speeds and a manual Envelope Generator position. A single trigger button allows you to generate long or short tone bursts. You can also select from low, mid, or high preset pitch frequencies. The unit comes with a power supply. Built in a durable case, it's easy to play and has been refined with high - quality components for a fatter and smoother siren sound. Technical specs include sine 1, sine 2, test tone, and square wave siren tones, 3 base audio oscillator frequencies, 3 LFO modulation speeds plus a manual Envelope Generator, a 1/4” unbalanced line level output, and dimensions of 4.7” x 3.5” x 1.6” / 120 x 90 x 40mm. Also available are other Benidub products like the DS71 Dub Siren, Lickshot Dub Siren, and more.

Using the Benidub DS01 Dub Siren is easy. First, connect the power supply to get it up and running. To select a tone, use the rotary knob to choose from the 4 classic dub siren tones. You can then adjust the pitch, volume, and LFO settings with the individual rotary knobs for a unique sound. If you want to generate a tone burst, just press the single trigger button. You can switch between different LFO modulation speeds or use the manual Envelope Generator for more control. When it comes to the pitch, you can quickly select low, mid, or high preset frequencies. As for maintenance, keep it in a dry and clean place. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or moisture. If there are any issues, check the connections first. If problems persist, it's best to contact Benidub's support team.
