Beirut: Gulag Orkestar Vinyl LP

Released in 2006, Beirut's debut album 'Gulag Orkestar' is a gem. Initially a solo venture by Santa Fe musician Zach Condon, Beirut grew into a full - fledged band with this critically - acclaimed record. Most of the album was crafted in Condon's bedroom and later assembled layer by layer with the help of friends Jeremy Barnes of Neutral Milk Hotel and Heather Trost, who later became band contributors.
