The dynamic rhythms and melodies of Antibalas have left an indelible mark on rock, hip hop, afrobeat, and more. Formed in a Brooklyn warehouse in 1997, this 12-piece ensemble introduced Afrobeat to a global audience, inspiring many musicians and putting on legendary live shows. Antibalas members were musical directors and the house band for the Broadway hit FELA!. After that, they reunited with former member and producer Gabriel Roth, who helmed their first three albums. This self-titled album, their first on Daptone Records, is a 10th anniversary edition. It comes on 'dirty money' colored vinyl, includes a digital download, is a limited edition, originally released in 2012, and is from Daptone Records 2022.
