Description

Get your hands on this amazing collection of favorites from the cult indie rock trio Acetone! They're back in stock. The L.A. group traces its roots to the short - lived scuzz - rock band Spinout, which released a record in 1991 on Delicious Vinyl before evolving into Acetone. From 1993 to 2001, Acetone released a series of cult LPs on Virgin's Vernon Yard and Neil Young's Vapor imprint. However, their psych and surf - influenced sound was overshadowed by Seattle grunge. Tragically, the band's run ended in 2001 with the death of bassist Richie Lee. This is the band's first retrospective, expertly compiled by Light In The Attic. It features 16 beloved tracks on 'pool haze' blue colored double vinyl, housed in a deluxe gatefold sleeve with an obi strip. Highlights are “Shaker,” “Vibrato,” “Louise” & “All The Time.” The audio is restored and remastered from the original tapes. It comes in a Stoughton tip - on gatefold sleeve with an obi strip, includes a printed foldout insert with liner notes by Sam Sweet. Originally released in 2017, it's now on the Light In The Attic label in 2023.

To use this vinyl record, first make sure your turntable is clean and in good working condition. Gently place the vinyl on the turntable and set the tonearm on the start of the record. Enjoy the music! When handling the vinyl, always hold it by the edges to avoid getting fingerprints on the playing surface. After use, carefully place the record back in its sleeve to protect it from dust and scratches. Store the vinyl in a cool, dry place, standing upright in a record rack. This will help keep the vinyl in good shape for years to come.
