Celebrate the 10th anniversary with this repress of Lupe Fiasco's masterpiece, Lupe Fiasco's The Cool. It's a standout concept album inspired by a track from his debut, Food & Liquor. Lupe's rap skills are top - notch, with bars delivered in diverse speeds, cadences, and moods. Beyond the typical sociopolitical themes, he showcases his amazing storytelling. The recording was marked by personal tragedies, adding depth to the album. Production is diverse, from jazzy Golden - Era beats like 'Paris, Tokyo' to the rock/electronic 'Hello/Goodbye(Uncool)' with Unkle. Highlights include radio hit 'Superstar' and more. This limited - edition comes as a translucent 'black ice' colored double vinyl (note: it may look black in normal light). Originally released in 2007, it's now reissued by Atlantic in 2023.
