This NYC - via - Chicago artist has been making waves in various music genres like house, techno, reggaeton, jungle, and now breaks & IDM with releases on Proibito, Bank, and Lovers Rock. 1080p is ending a great year after amazing vinyl releases by DJ Zozi, Ex - Terrestrial, Minimal Violence, etc. 'Dreamt Takes' is perfect for your winter holiday introspection. The 8.5 - minute opener 'HV's Sequence' stands out with rolling, time - stretched breaks, 808 bursts, and a gentle, changing ambient atmosphere. 'Talk Me Down' has a Zomby - like feel marinated in purple sprite, and armchair techno fans will love the gentle IDM of 'Shea's World' and 'Kirgaly'. Highly recommended. Music label: 1080p 2016.
