Description

This is an essential record for soul music lovers. Co - produced by Jerry Ragavoy and arranged by Leon Pendarvis, Lou Courtney released 'I'm In Need Of Love' in 1974. A Detroit artist who wrote and produced for Barbara Lewis in the '60s, Courtney shows superb expressiveness. The lush instrumentation filled with strings and horns provides the perfect backdrop for his vocals. Certified rare groove tracks like 'I Don't need Nobody Else' and 'What Do You Want Me To Do' stand out on the album, and there isn't a single filler. Check out the uptempo 'I Will, If You Will' and 'Somebody New Is Lovin' On You', or the sweet soul - drenched title track that closes the LP. This is a repress of Soul Brother Records from almost 20 years ago. Music label: Soul Brother Records 1974 / 2018. Reviewed by pocari papi 08/18.

Using this vinyl LP is easy. Just place it on your turntable, gently drop the needle on the groove, and enjoy the soulful music. When handling the record, make sure your hands are clean to avoid getting fingerprints on it, which can affect the sound quality. Store the LP in a cool, dry place, standing it upright in a record sleeve to prevent warping. If the record gets dirty, you can use a soft record brush to gently clean the grooves. Don't expose it to direct sunlight for long periods as it may damage the vinyl.
