In 1993,
Exile in Guyville revolutionized the indie scene. Then, in 1994, Liz Phair released
Whip - Smart, a more refined album full of depth and variety. Originally, Phair planned an album about industry tricks after
Exile. But label executives preferred something like the debut LP. So, Phair revisited her Girly Sound material and wrote new songs about relationships.
Whip - Smart shows a more mature Liz Phair with smart songwriting and great instrumentation (produced by Brad Wood). Over 14 tracks, she openly sings about sex, love, freedom, and power. Don't miss hits like 'Jealousy,' 'Supernova,' 'Dogs of L.A.,' 'Shane,' and 'Chopsticks.' The LP comes in a gatefold sleeve with a printed insert. It's from Capitol Records (1994 / 2018).

To enjoy your Liz Phair: Whip - Smart Vinyl LP, first, make sure your record player is clean and in good working condition. Gently remove the vinyl from the gatefold sleeve, holding it by the edges to avoid fingerprints. Place it on the turntable and start the player. As you listen, you can check out the printed insert to learn more about the album. When you're done, carefully put the vinyl back in the sleeve to protect it. Keep the LP in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent warping. And remember, handle it with care to ensure it lasts a long time and you can keep enjoying this great music.
