Description

Leon Vynehall, from Brighton, presents his sophomore studio album, 'Rojus (Designed To Dance)'. After the ambient sounds of 2015's 'Midnight On Rainbow Road', Vynehall returns to Gerd Janson's Running Back label. The album starts with a lively continuation of the previous track and then smoothly transitions into pure house music. Vynehall's dance music is intimate, with tiny vocal snippets whispering in your ear. In 'Beau Sovereign', female vocals declare 'Your love / is what I want / is what I need', while strings add depth over a thumping kick drum. The drums throughout the record have just the right swing, sometimes a simple kick - snare combo and at other times two - step inspired. 'Rojus', which means 'paradise' in Lithuanian, was inspired by a National Geographic documentary on birds of paradise mating rituals, with bird sounds used on several tracks. 'Kiburu's' is a great house cut that combines all the album's elements. With eight tracks in total, it's released on double vinyl in a gatefold sleeve by Running Back in 2016.

To enjoy this double vinyl album, first, make sure your record player is set up correctly. Gently place the vinyl on the turntable and use the tonearm to start the music. When handling the vinyl, hold it by the edges to avoid fingerprints on the playing surface. After each use, put the vinyl back in its sleeve to protect it from dust and scratches. Store the album in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. If you notice any dust on the vinyl, use a soft anti - static brush to clean it before playing. This will help keep the sound quality great for a long time.
