Description

Discover rare rocksteady and reggae tracks from the legendary Upsetter, Lee Perry! This LP from WIRL Records features hard - to - find Perry tunes from his days as a session supervisor at West Indian Record Limited in the early 70s. Perry left Studio One to work at WIRL, where he could arrange 'record now and pay later' studio time. Influential songs like 'Set Them Free', 'Run For Cover', and 'People Funny Boy' emerged from these sessions. While some of this material has been released before, this version offers superior sound quality and track selection. It's a top - quality 180g import pressing from Kingston Sounds in 2013.

To enjoy this LP, first, make sure your record player is clean and in good working condition. Gently place the LP on the turntable, and carefully lower the tonearm onto the beginning of the record. Sit back and enjoy the amazing rocksteady and reggae tunes. When you're done, lift the tonearm gently and return it to its rest. To keep your LP in great shape, always store it in its sleeve when not in use. Avoid touching the playing surface with your fingers as it can leave oils and dirt. If it gets dirty, use a record cleaning brush to gently remove dust. With proper care, you'll be able to enjoy these rare Lee Perry tracks for years to come.
