Nonagon Infinity hits all the right notes for King Gizzard fans. It features microtuning, fuzz, and a cool format gimmick where each song transition is seamless, and the album loops seamlessly when played on repeat. Unlike some overly ambitious albums, it's still very listenable. Conceptually, it introduces us to the nonagon, a nine - sided polygon shown on the cover, and there are nine songs. Despite the complex arrangement, the songs are quite engaging. Highlights are “Big Fig Wasp,” “Gamma Knife,” “Invisible Face,” and “Wah Wah.” This is a triple - color marble vinyl variant. It comes in a gatefold jacket with a full - color printed insert, a printed inner sleeve, and includes a digital download. It's a limited edition from ATO Records in 2016.
