John Frusciante: Foregrow EP (Colored Vinyl) Vinyl 12

John Frusciante is back on Absurd Recordings' Acid Test sublabel. 'Foregrow' is the second release for this label by the former Red Hot Chili Peppers' guitarist. His first was under the 'Trickfinger' alias, following the overall Acid Test sound. This EP takes him into more experimental areas, playing with rhythms and structures. It's a far - cry from his work with his former bandmates. You can tell he's doing whatever he wants, not caring about commercial results. The music is hard to classify, except for its electronic elements and drum machine beats. There are four tracks in total. It's a limited - edition colored vinyl release by Acid Test in 2016.
