This is the early soundtrack from John Carpenter's debut film, Dark Star, originally released in 1974. It was a joint effort between Carpenter and sci - fi and horror screenwriter Dan O'Bannon. What started as a film school project launched Carpenter's career as a filmmaker and composer. The LP includes incidental music, sound effects, Carpenter's synth experiments, dialogue excerpts, and vintage interferences straight from the film. Alongside the LP, there's a beach - ball alien 7' vinyl (red with a yellow label circled in black), which has three extra tracks, endless loops of movie sound effects, and a hidden bonus track. In total, there are ten tracks. It's released by We Release Whatever The Fuck We Want Records on black vinyl with a bonus colored 7' vinyl. It's a limited - edition item from 2016.

Using this product is easy. Just put the vinyl LP or the 7' vinyl on your record player and start playing to enjoy the amazing soundtrack of Dark Star. When handling the vinyls, make sure your hands are clean to avoid getting dirt or oil on the records, which can affect the sound quality. Store the vinyls in a cool, dry place and keep them upright in their sleeves to prevent warping. If the records get dirty, you can use a vinyl cleaning brush to gently clean the grooves. Enjoy this limited - edition soundtrack and relive the magic of John Carpenter's early work.
