Los Angeles slow - funk star Dyami O'Brien, known as Jamma - Dee, wraps up an excellent trilogy of EPs for NYC's Arcane label. Side A features three rich house grooves that blend well with Jammy's signature cosmopolitan street soul on Side B. Tracks like “Come 2 Me” with its waterlogged chipmunk swing, “Jump” with its squeaky - clean synth - jaz - house style à la CVO, and the smooth jazz of “Lost” and “We Run Tha World” are stand - outs. In fact, all 6 tracks are as smooth as a glass of VSOP. It comes in a die - cut purple jacket and includes a postcard with O'Brien's original art. This black vinyl pressing also has a full - color double - sided postcard insert. Music label: Arcane 2019. Highly recommended.
