Description

In 2013, James Blake's Overgrown received a ton of praise from fans, fellow artists, and critics. Around the same year, he started working on its follow - up. While contributing to Beyoncé and Frank Ocean's albums, this English pop artist finished The Colour In Anything. With 17 tracks, it slightly moves away from his signature minimalism. But it's still defined by Blake's pitched and processed vocals, along with solemn piano/keys over sparse percussion, just with more textures and layers. Maybe his collaborations with Frank Ocean and Rick Rubin led to this style evolution, yet it only enhances the listening experience. The album is amazing from start to finish. Standout tracks include “Radio Silence,” “Timeless,” “My Willing Heart,” “I Need a Forest Fire,” “f.o.r.e.v.e.r,” “Modern Soul,” and “Love Me In Whatever Way.” This vinyl comes with an 180 - gram pressing, a gatefold sleeve, and is from the Polydor label in 2016. To enjoy this vinyl, first, make sure your record player is clean and in good working condition. Gently place the vinyl on the turntable and use the tonearm to drop the needle on the start of the record. Sit back and let the music play. When you're done, lift the tonearm carefully and return it to its rest. Store the vinyl in its gatefold sleeve to protect it from dust and scratches. Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid touching the playing surface of the vinyl with your fingers as the oils can damage it. If the vinyl gets dirty, you can use a vinyl cleaning brush to gently remove the dust.
