Speaker Compatibility Notes
- Depending on your Transparent speaker's purchase time, there's a difference in powering the wifi module. Older Transparent speaker users need to power the Wi - Fi Module from a wall socket as they can't plug directly into the speaker.
- For older Small Transparent speakers with serial number H1908STS or lower on the bottom, power the Wi - Fi Module from a wall socket.
- For older Transparent speakers with serial number H2103TS or lower on the back, power the Wi - Fi Module from a wall socket.
Wi - Fi vs. Bluetooth
Transparent says, 'The biggest difference is that Bluetooth only allows short - range data transfer and limits the number of connected devices. With Wi - Fi, you can connect multiple speakers over a long distance with good connection. Some also think Wi - Fi streaming offers better audio quality.'
