Description

Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes, an American folk - rock band from Los Angeles, is led by Alex Ebert, formerly of Ima Robot. Their music captures the Hippie era's vibes, similar to the Flaming Lips. Alex Ebert's alter - ego, Edward Sharpe, emerged during his drug rehabilitation. He started creating music alone, using his mouth or a kazoo for horn lines. After meeting Jade Castrinos, they formed the Magnetic Zeroes. Their debut album, Up From Below, was recorded in Laurel Canyon and produced by Aaron Older and Nico Aglietti. Tracks like '40 Day Dream' have an Arcade Fire - Phil Spector feel, 'Come in Please' recalls Love's 'Forever Changes', and 'Home' is a cultural icon heard in many films and ads. This limited - edition record comes on black vinyl, packed in an embossed gatefold sleeve with a 12'x12' 16 - page booklet full of album - making details. It's released by Vagrant Records in 2019 and was reviewed by SHE WANTS REVENGE in 07/2019.

Using this vinyl LP is simple. Just place it on a turntable, lower the needle gently onto the record, and enjoy the music. When handling the vinyl, make sure your hands are clean to avoid getting dirt or oils on the surface. Keep the record away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures, as these can warp the vinyl. After each use, put the record back in its embossed gatefold sleeve to protect it. The 12'x12' booklet inside is a great source of information about the album, so take your time to read through it and learn more about the making of the music. This is a limited - edition item, so handle it with care to preserve its value and quality.
