In 1995, some future members of Da Crime - Click recorded the mixtape 'Satanic Verses' as 10th graders. Then in 1996, II Tone gathered Mac Montese, Yung Madness, Big Cheese, K - D, and K. Redd to release this masterpiece. It's a raw and introspective look at street life in Magnolia. With narcotized productions using sirens, funfire, horror samples, thick basslines, and sharp drum programming, it showcases what it meant to be 'thugs' in Magnolia at the time. It's easy to see the influence on today's trap music from Memphis.
