By the time Cocteau Twins released Heaven Or Las Vegas, they had spent nearly a decade perfecting their unique sound, recording solely for Ivo Watts-Russell's renowned indie label 4AD. After the decline of goth and post-punk, 4AD became a go-to label for fans of lush and dreamy indie pop, thanks to Cocteau Twins' excellent albums in the mid to late 80s. On Heaven Or Las Vegas, Liz Fraser's remarkable voice and lyrics are more prominent and understandable than ever, while Robin Guthrie's masterful proto-shoegaze guitar playing and Simon Raymond's atmospheric elements are perfectly combined. This is their most critically and commercially successful record. Watts-Russell called it his favorite in the 4AD catalog. It truly deserves a place in every record collection. To use this vinyl LP, simply place it on your turntable and gently lower the needle onto the record. Make sure your turntable is clean and properly set up for the best sound quality. When handling the vinyl, hold it by the edges to avoid fingerprints on the playing surface. Keep the record in its sleeve when not in use to protect it from dust and scratches. Store it vertically in a cool, dry place to prevent warping. If the record gets dirty, you can use a vinyl cleaning brush to gently remove dust. For stubborn dirt, use a vinyl cleaning solution according to the product instructions.
