Clothilde: Queen of French Swinging Mademoiselle 1967 LP

Unless you're a deep - dive expert on 60's French Chanteuses, beyond Francoise Hardy and Bridgitte Bardot, you probably haven't heard of Clothilde. Elizabeth Beauvais, known as Clothilde, only had two 45's in 1967. She didn't get the recognition she deserved outside her home country. But Born Bad Records is here to change that. Their album 'Queen of the French Swinging Mademoiselles' combines tracks from both 7' EPs, along with rare unpublished Italian versions. It's a must - listen for swing music lovers.
